1. Do artworks purchased come with or without frames?

Most of the paintings are sold complete with frames. Framed and unframed sizes are given on individual items. If you require more information about a particular piece and its frame, please contact us at the gallery and we will be happy to advise. Should you prefer to purchase an artwork unframed this can be arranged by contacting the gallery.

2. Are the Limited Edition Giclee Prints mounted or framed?

No. To save on delivery costs, our limited edition prints ordered online are delivered unmounted and rolled in a cardboard tube. Your local framer will be able to mount and frame for you.

3. Can I have my item gift wrapped?

This is not a service available online, but if you would like to purchase an item and have it gift wrapped and sent to a specific address, please contact the gallery and we will be happy to try to arrange this for you.

4. How is jewellery delivered?

All our jewellery items are delivered in presentation boxes.

5. Can I have the Moy Mackay “Art in Felt & Stitch” book signed?

Moy’s book can be personally signed – be sure to include the name of the person you want the book signed for and any message in the Order Notes in the Checkout area when ordering.

6. Can I use a Moy Mackay Gallery Gift Voucher with online purchases?

Unfortunately no! Please note that Gift Vouchers may only be redeemed in the Moy Mackay Gallery Shop in Peebles and are not redeemable via the online store. However, if you are unable to vist the gallery in person, we can arrange for you to use your voucher via telephone order with the gallery.

7. Can I send a gift voucher to another address than that of my own?

Gift vouchers can be sent directly to the recipient of your choice with your message on the card. Please remember to tell us the address you wish it sent to, and any message for the card in the Order Notes in the Checkout area when ordering.

8. Is Moy available for tutoring or workshops anywhere in the world?

Moy is happy to consider all offers of tutoring out with her own  studio run workshops. Contact her for workshop fees and availability. When doing this it is helpful if you have an idea of possible dates, venue country, postcode or area along with an idea of numbers and workshop duration so she can provide an accurate quote. For workshops out with the UK – air fares and accommodation costs will be added to the workshop fees. Where possible Moy will try accommodate more than one workshop in a specific country so travel expenses can be shared.

9. Parking

The Northgate has limited parking and a 40 minute parking limitation. Therefore we would suggest parking in one of the towns 4 car parks:

Edinburgh Road Car Park (Eastgate)
Situated alongside Edinburgh Road. There are public toilets located in this car park. Eastgate parking can be difficult on Thursdays due to the Farmers Market.

Kingsmeadow Car Park
Located on the South side of the Tweed Bridge (cross the bridge and veer left, take the first exit on left). There are public toilets located in this car park.

Glasgow Road Car Park
Located on the Western edge of town adjacent to the cemetery and Haylodge Park. There are no toilet facilities in this car park.

Greenside Car Park
Located at the foot of the Old Town (behind Castle Warehouse and Cocoa Black). There are no toilet facilities in this car park.

  • There is a charge for car parking on Saturday only – it is free on the other days of the week.

10. Accessibility

Due to the architectural limitations of the gallery building itself we are not fully wheelchair accessible and visitors with limited mobility may be challenged. There is however accessibility into our ground floor level gallery but not down our narrow stairwell into the bottom gallery. However we are more than happy to show our visitors what is available on our online gallery and where possible bring any artwork to the ground floor level for them to view.
